The GHS Girls Powerlifting Team traveled to Jim Hill High School in Jackson, MS. to compete in the MHSAA South State Powerlifting Meet. The Lady Gators came back home with a South State Championship. They qualified all 12 lifters for the MHSAA State Championship Meet and finished the day with 78 points. All lifters finished either 1st or 2nd place in their respective weight class. The State Championship Meet will be held in Jackson at the Mississippi Coliseum on April, 1st.
