The Girls 4 X 100 Relay Team (Jennifer Lopez, Yasmyne McCann, Ramya Miller, Desire Robinson), appeared to have finished 2nd at the meet. After two schools were tripped during the race, the MHSAA made a decision to re-run the race again at the end of the meet. This proved huge as the GHS Girls 4 X 100 Relay Team finished 1st to capture the State Championship. The same girls ran on the 4 X 100 Relay Team and finished 3rd in that event. GHS sprinter, Desire Robinson, finished 2nd in the 200 Meters at the MHSAA State Championship meet. Great season for the GHS Girls Track Team.
